NUTRITIONAL BEER FACTS
Do Corona products contain gluten?
Corona Extra, Corona Light, Corona Familiar, and Corona Premier are made from malted barley which naturally contains gluten. The fermentation process significantly lowers its content, however, there are traces of gluten in Corona Extra, Corona Light, Corona Familiar, and Corona Premier. We recommend that you consult your physician regarding consumption. Corona Hard Seltzer, Corona Seltzerita, and Corona Hard Seltzer Limonada are fermented from sugar, and are gluten free.
Are Corona products Kosher?
Corona products are not Kosher certified.
Are Corona products pasteurized?
Corona products are pasteurized. The pasteurization process, which assures the microbiological stability and secures the shelf life of beer, is accomplished by heating it at approximately 60°C for a predetermined period of time.

What is the shelf life for Corona?
While there are many factors that contribute to beer shelf life, we have found that in order to enjoy the consistently fresh taste of Corona, it is best to drink within the timeframe of the code date printed on the product packaging.
How can I find and understand the code date?
We strive for the highest standards of quality and freshness for all our products and regularly conduct comprehensive testing to ensure the best quality liquids for our consumers. Our best by / code date is printed on the neck of the bottle or bottom of the can. Please reference our code date chart for more information.
What are the ideal storage conditions for Corona?
Storage conditions also play a factor in the shelf life and quality of beer. Prior to opening, Corona should be kept in a cool, dry, dark area away from bright light while avoiding extreme temperature changes. Kegs should be stored in temperatures of 34-39 degrees Fahrenheit with serving temperatures of 36-41 degrees Fahrenheit.The optimal storage temperature for cans and bottles is 53-59 degrees Fahrenheit.
What are the ideal CO2 pressure levels for my Corona keg line?
Corona products have a carbonation level of 2.7 CO2 volume. The recommended CO2 gauge pressure for Corona products should range between 12.5-16 PSI at 38 degrees Fahrenheit at sea level. For every 2000 feet in elevation, the PSI needs to be raised by 1.
