Spicy Hummus

A spicy, Mexican twist on a Middle Eastern classic. Serve with a refreshingly light Corona Premier.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup tahini
  • 1 chopped Jalapeño
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 3/4 tsp. sea salt
  • 2 medium garlic cloves
  • juice of 1 lemon (2-3 Tbsp.)
  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas

Directions

  • Using a food processor or a food blender, mix together all the ingredients for about 4 to 5 minutes.
  • And for the end:
  • An extra drizzle of olive oil, chopped fresh parsley, a pinch of sumac, or ground paprika!
  • Eat with Pita Bread or Totopos.
